Operating Fund For The Indianapolis Early Music Festival
Like nearly every performing arts organization, the proceeds from ticket sales fall far short of covering the expenses of producing the performance. (They cover roughly half of the costs). For many years we have sought annual contributions for our Operating Fund. The generous support of many individuals plus one rather large gift allowed us to scrape by each year. Unfortunately our "angel" is now deceased, and our loss of her annual gift has created a financial problem.
To makeup for that loss, we are redoubling our annual appeal for Operating Funds as well as establishing an Endowment Fund (the income from which will help support FMS). To show our appreciation, ticket prices are discounted to any donor of $50 or more.
